Why Weddings?

I love the challenge of capturing candid and heartfelt moments which is why wedding photography is something I absolutely adore doing! I love people and I love telling their story through my camera. I photograph weddings, families maternity and newborns and offer "client for life" options for all of my brides and grooms.

I would say I am strongest at lifestyle, photojournalism and candid style photography. But I also have the confidence and am easily able to corral and organize a large group of people or create a beautiful editorial or portrait style photograph for my brides and grooms.

I have always got along great with various age groups and personality types and I notice this translates well when photographing weddings since you have to work with the shy clients all the way to the outgoing ones, and the children all the way up to the grandparents. Because I can be adaptable, I’m strong at adjusting and working with the needs of others. When photographing a wedding I want to make sure I know what is most important to my clients when it comes to their wedding photography. I do this by helping them create a shot list to keep everyone organized and I also work with them closely on developing moments to fit their vision. For this reason I’m confident I can deliver the experience they envision and photos they will love.

My goal for my clients is to leave them feeling happy, excited and confident that I have captured moments they will cherish forever.
