Now you need to get your invites out to your loved ones! Look no further than Basic Invite.

Basic Invite combines beautifully illustrated wedding invitations with free wedding website services so you can keep your wedding theme trendy and keep your guest list tracking organized and streamlined.

I love Basic Invite because they offer so many styles and trends that I have never seen with other invitation companies. We photographers love photographing your invitation suite placed nicely alongside all of your other wedding day details, and Basic Invite helps us execute this beautifully!

Basic invite is a full-service wedding invitation company that offers over 40 different colors of envelopes to choose from! I love that they are trendy and fun and have countless color options available to match any hue or color tone. So whether you are planning a spring, summer, winter or fall wedding, you can make sure your invites are in perfect alignment with your wedding day colors, style and theme!

And for anyone loving the current glowing golden and deep maroon colors of the season they have a beautiful new Fall Save the Date line, now available!

As a photographer I absolutely LOVE capturing fall weddings. There is something about the golden hues mixed with the warm burgundies, wood textures and jewel tones that are timeless and Basic Invite’s Fall line will align perfectly with the season.

Their free address collection and mailing service is also an awesome feature. In three simple steps your guests can click a link, enter in their postal information and you will receive an envelope with their address printed and ready to send out, for free!

Collecting your RSVP’s is easy for everyone. The wedding invite includes a tear off RSVP card in over 30 styles (including a foil option which is my all-time favorite). Guests addresses are printed on the back of each seal and send so there is no envelope necessary. Just add postage. Easy peasy.

They also offer free customizable wedding websites for sharing day of details with your guests. They offer over 900 options for consistently themed paper sets that include invites, save the dates, menu cards, wedding enclosure cards and even thank you cards!

Try Basic Invite out for free. They are one of the few Invite companies that allow customers to order a sample of their invitation to preview the quality of paper and print, before you make your final purchase!

You can find Basic Invite on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.

5 Reasons why you should invest in a wedding album

In the digital age not every photographer is going to offer you something tangible to take away from your wedding day.

Maybe you are on a budget and you think you only want digital files...

But in most cases you are going to look through a gallery of about 700-1,000 images only a handful of times.

You might choose your favorites to post on Facebook and a few might get printed and displayed on the wall, but the rest, what happens to those?!

I think you hired your photographer to tell a story of your day, so don't let that investment go to waste...

Here are 5 benefits of ordering a wedding album:

1. You will have a tangible way to relive your day with those you love

2. Your photographer will personally select the best images to tell a story

3. You are utilizing your investment and your photographers talent by creating something with the images you've received

4. You will have a high quality and professional album that will last

5. You will have something tangible to pass down for generations

I hope this encourages you to consider a beautiful wedding album that hi-lights the most important day of your life!

Lacey

The Getting Ready Moments

When you look back on your wedding in 10, 20, 30 years from now, what memories do you want to see in your photographs?

What feelings do you want captured?

What moments do you want to relive in years to come?

Many brides go into their wedding day knowing that they want their photographer to capture a full story about the day of their dreams, but might not take into consideration what sort of coverage and what style photography they are looking for to make this possible.

If this is you, maybe you are not even sure what questions to ask your photographer?

My mission when documenting a wedding is to tell a story using a photojournalistic, portrait, editorial, documentary and candid style approach. I feel that these elements of photography collectively communicate and tell the story you have worked so hard to create.

My favorite moments to capture on a wedding day?! The getting ready moments.

Watching the bride glow when she first sees herself in the mirror after stepping into her dress and watching the reactions of the closest women in her life right there alongside her are priceless. Or capturing the tears the groom lets free as he reads a love letter from his future wife...

I feel these moments are some of the most heart felt moments on a wedding day (aside from the moments with the bride and groom alone of course).

So when you are choosing between the 6 hour package or 9 hour package with your photographer, consider what memories you want to take away with you. What moments do you want to be able to show your grandchildren and to relive in years to come?

I'm offering a complimentary phone call to discuss what style photography best suits you and your wedding day story!
